What sounds are on it?

There are no onboard sounds on the Konductor except the guitar tone from the pickups. The electronics portions of the instrument are functional when plugged in to your computer. It is a MIDI controller built in to a guitar.

Does it work with my DAW?

I would recommend using Ableton because mapping the knobs, pads and keys to do whatever you want is very easy.
